Work Experience

Curious about a career in fashion retail? If you’re a Year 12 student eager to get a behind the scenes look at a Fashion Retail Head office and find out more about the huge range of different careers paths available, then join us for our ‘Arcadia Experience’ Day. No tea making here, we’ll help you realise your strengths and sample life in a range of our departments in bite sized sessions. You’ll get to know us more, get to know yourself better, and hopefully begin to shape an idea of what you want to do in the future! Interested? Make sure you keep your eyes peeled, applications will be opening for this hugely popular event at the beginning of May.

Design

In our design teams you’ll be pivotal in making Arcadia a success. We exist to bring the thrill of fashion to customers’ lives. So you’ll make sure we’re first to capture emerging trends. And translate these into beautiful, desirable products that our customers believe in.

Our entry-level role in this area is Design Assistant. We look for forward-thinking and commercial sense – the things it takes to keep our ranges ahead of the game.

People (Human Resources)

Keep an eye out for our HR Assistant and Talent Acquisition Administrator roles. All career paths in the People team start at Assistant or Administrator level.

Whether you’re in HR, Talent Acquisition or Talent Development, you’ll partner with our Leadership team and help to drive our people strategy, preparing the business for the future.

From finding great talent to supporting managers, to designing in-house development programmes, our teams work on a huge range of projects.

PR & MARKETING

PR and Marketing look after everything from PR campaigns for new launches and collaborations to securing standout press coverage across the globe and organising and hosting media events. It’s a fast-moving, full-on environment where we’re always on the lookout for new ideas.

You can start out here in a PR or Marketing Assistant role. Our teams love highly organised,

Arcadia Technology

Based in London and Leeds, our clever Tech team provides IT support for the Group. They’re involved in the big projects that help us grow, like evolving online systems so that customers can be even more flexible with their deliveries and collections. Here, even a small change adds up to a major impact.

Garment Technology

Our Garment team work with Buying, Design and suppliers to guarantee that every garment we make is both high-quality and commercial. From stretch to colour to cut, every last product detail is checked, to ensure the perfect fit. Early careers opportunities start in an Assistant Technologist role.

Creative

Creative is a hub of inspiration at headquarters, responsible for creating all our in-store graphics, packaging and brand marketing.
Our Creative Designers are experts in transforming visual inspiration into beautiful graphics and packaging that excites our customers. They make sure our creative stays one step ahead of the competition and stays true to our brand – working closely with our Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Digital and Product teams.
In a Junior Artworker role, you’ll be right in the thick of the action, perhaps creating in-store promotional material or ensuring that our identity is consistent across our online platforms.

Visual Merchandising

Directional styling, stunning window displays: our creative Visual teams use their artistic flair to excite our customers and drive sales.

Meanwhile, our Visual Merchandising teams design in-store product layouts that balance strong visual impact with commercial impact. And because our in-store experience has to stand toe to toe with innovation online, our teams are also constantly evolving our in-store design and reinventing how customers shop with us.

STUDIO

Based near Shoreditch, the online studio team creates the visual content featured across our Topshop/Topman digital platforms.

In this fast-paced environment, you will be amongst a team of like-minded individuals with real creative flair.
